being a Reading fan i'd like to think we're in with a shout, if we keep hold of long and bring in a decent cb and a half decent cb as back up i think we're in with a shout going on how we finished last season but odds are long will be gone and we won't bring in anyone of real quality to replace him so someone needs to step up this season for us.
Leicester have to be in with a shout if they can get all there signings to gel but i think it may take a while and they could maybe sneak play-offs come end of the season.
Birminghams squad just seems to be getting dismantled and can see them being mid-table
think West ham has to be a good shout for top 2 this season
Welcome to the board matey, what has happened with Reading these last few seasons. They seem to have slipped into mid table fodder since sliding out of the Premiership
we've bin in the play-offs 2/3 seasons we've been back down from the premiership and the other season we weren't far off as well as 2 FA cup quarter finals so wouldnt say we faded to mid-table lol. we keep selling our best players before each season though and not really bringing anyone in and having to rely on our acadamy players (to be fair we're producing alot of good players at the moment though) we keep getting told theres no money to spend but the ammount we've bought in from selling players the last few seasons it seems ridiculous for madejski to keep saying it. but we're still competing so it's all good signed L'wood perminently who was great for us on loan last season and helped us climb the table and make play-offs. just need to bring in a couple cb's and we should be competing again this season, hopefully we can spend a a couple million from what we got for mills on that. if we can have a decent start to the season i think we can push for promotion as the last 2 seasons we have been finishing strong
