Hi Guys, Im new to this forum, so I thought I would start something really special in time for the new season! Ive seen that there is a TFF Predictions league, however I feel that having a league One league would be fantastic for all the members in the team. It will run on the same rules but based on my own thoughts on a league. Firstly, I want to say that I am an Oldham Fan and that we are now financially secure from the threat of administration after getting £5.7 million from Oldham Council in which some people will agree and disagree to. So heres the aim of the league.
The Football League One Fans Football League!
Rules:
*Members must be of a fan of a league one club as of the 2011/2012 football league season.
*Matchday predictions must be in before 2pm saturday matchdays and 6pm weekday matchdays
*For a Saturday matchday, predictions will start and be applicable from the Wednesday prior to the Saturday and on a Tuesday Matchday, the Thursday prior to it.
* Every League One game on that match day will be given and players will give a prediction of the result ie: Rochfail 1 Huddersfield 1
* There will be 3 points awarded for a win if the player has guessed the correct result. This on the table will be classed as a win!
*There will be 1 points awarded if the player has guessed the correct result with the exception of one goal give or take for either team. Ie: Rochfail drew 1-1 with Huddersfield but the player guessed a 2-1 win for Huddersfield. This on the table will be classed as a draw!
*There will be 0 points awarded if the player has guessed the wrong result, this will be classed a loss on the table.
The Table:
Position - Player - Played - Win - Draw - Loss - Points
1) Tim 2 1 0 1 3
2) Tom 3 0 2 1 2
and so on!
*Players who submit for the matchday will have a played added on to their talley.
*Matchdays will go from 1-46
*The game will be carefully monitored however no prize will be issued as this is just a little game for members.
*This is just for League one games and excludes Johnstone Paint Trophy, League Cup and FA Cup.
As it is Tuesday before the Saturday, please inform me of your interest by replying to me.
