After the fade out last season, will The Clarets go a stage further this time around and return to the Prem?

Certainly gonna be an interesting season. Lots of contenders for the title. Brum, West Ham, Leeds and Forest to name a few. Burnley i think will make the play offs

It will be interesting to see how Charlie Austin does this season.
I'd expect Burnley to be in or around the play offs this season

All depends on team morale, a fit Paterson, a decent centre half signing and some of them poor performers from last season pulling their fingers out.
Keep an eye out for Southampton.

Agree, Snecklifter. Saints could continue where they left off last season and surprise a few in the Championship.

I can't honestly see Burnley being top 2 this season. Eddie Howe is a top manager tho but the quality in this seasons championship is very high

He should have his shoulder fixed and his head should be right 25 to 30 goals for him next season

With the forwards of Rodriguez,Paterson,Austin and Iwelumo (off the bench ) and players like Eagles,Wallace and hopefully Mc Cann we are/should be a match for anyone going forward. It's t'other end that may let us down......not defending properly and no distribution. We are only a couple of players off being a team that can challenge for the top 2. If we don't get promoted this season then you'll see a massive change in players and due to funds you could well see Burnley being relegation material the season after. Having said all that, it's all down to Eddie..... and I like what I see.

Burnley could go far this season, although like a poster above has mentioned, Burnley's defence needs a lot of attention and could, yet again be the stumbling block.

I don't think the defence needs 'alot' of attention, we need a leader at centreback to partner Bikey (who falls asleep occasionally). The two fullbacks in Mears and Fox are two of the better ones in the division, but they are as happy or happier attacking than defending. And there lies one of the problems, with two attacking full backs you need to be keeping hold of possession because as soon as you lose the ball they're out of position and the centreback pair are stretched all o'er shop.
An experienced centre half and captain material, is what's missing.
