The so called lower leagues are full of once proud top flight teams, which is why i suppose English football is the best in the world

I remember being a Salop fan in League 2 and playing Wigan Fulham Blackpool Swansea Stoke.
In League 2 now we got 2 ex premier league sides in Massive and Swindon

I remember being a Salop fan in League 2 and playing Wigan Fulham Blackpool Swansea Stoke. In League 2 now we got 2 ex premier league sides in Massive and Swindon I remember going to Wigan to watch Bury at the old Sringfield ground. Got to be the worst away "enclosure" ever to grace the league. It was just a grass bank with a little hut on top of it. |

In League 2 now we got 2 ex premier league sides in Massive and Swindon I remember going to Wigan to watch Bury at the old Sringfield ground. Got to be the worst away "enclosure" ever to grace the league. It was just a grass bank with a little hut on top of it. Stood on that bank at Springfield Park 3 or 4 times. Away end at Halifax also chronic before it was modified. |

In League 2 now we got 2 ex premier league sides in Massive and Swindon Used to love visiting the Gay Meadow with Walsall. Smashing little ground which never seemed to change down the years. Stood/sat at both ends and sides as an away fan there! |

Yeah the gay meadow was a cracking little ground, gotta be the worst toilets tho, no roof as i remember. Saltergate was another dump, nice if its sunny but terrible if its lashing down and your getting beat 3 nil
