For me Dandy.Beano, early doors, then Victor and Hotspur.
Remember quite a few of the Characters.
Anybody remember Alf Tupper the runner.

Commando comics.
I think i still have some of them knocking about.
Close quarters fighting against Jerry in a bombed out French town, can't beat it.

I can only go as far back as Roy of the Rovers, Match and Shoot. Used to love the Striker strip in The Sun

I used to read those comics as well, vaguely remeber Alf Tupper but ones I liked best were Desprate Dan, Billy Wizz, the Bashstreet Kids Denise the Menise & Gnasher.  Also oorwullie and the Broones who were in the sunday post  And also remember and read those wee war comics mentioned as well. |

The Eagle. My favourite was Dan Dare and the Mekons..
the Victor. Alf Tupper,the tough of the track
also read the Beano and Dandy..
My lads used to get the Dandy and Beano comic library books.
in my loft I have two large boxes full of very old Dandy and Beano comics and comic library books..must be a few hundred in total.. Just waiting for the price of them to go up..
