Im happy with the signing of Hughes. Looks like a good solid defender, if we can get Lees back on loan then the back 4 looks very strong |

Walsall just signed Matt Sadler on a free. Very good signing for them. He played every minute last season for us and hardly put a foot wrong.

I think he did, was a very promising teenager if i remember rightly. A good buy for Walsall, will take to League 1 like a duck to water

We are delighted to sign Matt Sadler at Walsall. Played around 160 games at various clubs and as you say, riversidelad, played every minute of last season for the Shrews. Walsall don't pay out very good wages and he has only signed for a year.

LOL. We have plenty of targets but all down to budget. We have been promised a few more signings this week. Boss Dean Smith has got fed up of waiting for Julian Gray and Matt Richards to re-sign.

Walsall would LOVE Kevin Phillips and he is locally based. Been linked with Saddlers all summer We have made a further signing today-left winger Kevan Hurst from Carlisle. So that should spell curtains for Julian Gray who has kept manager Dean Smith waiting for five weeks.
