Would be a cracking signing. I know it seems unlikely but is it as unlikely as people think? We are his most local team, he will get regular football, step into coaching/scouting/managing or whatever he wants to do after, easy for his family. Yes he will have to take a big pay cut but at the age of 37 and the wages he has been on at WBA,Sunderland, Blues etc have given him enough money to live on. He dont really need the money now. He wants to enjoy is final year in football, he wants to score goals, he will surely do that in League 1.

Bury are linked with Deon Burton Ex Sheff Wed. Could be a good signing to work along Ryan Lowe.

I wouldnt say we are very active. We have been looking at Hurst and Sadler for some time, they both just signed around the same time.
Notts are very active, signed about 5 or 6 players I think? We are just getting started. Maybe one more today before pre-season starts tomorrow.

Notts County are strongly linked with the signing of ex-forest striker Marlon Harewood,31, in my opinion this would be a great signing and I believe if do sign him it will guarentee us safety.

County was linked with him some time back, it was confirmed that you offered him a deal.
Fair play if you sign him, he could get into a Championship side.
